Best all season beside pilot sport a/s 3
I need to replace the factory run flats. Size 225/45/18 all around. Have 35k on them and they are bald and cupping very bad. I have 1 year left on my lease unless I can pull ahead early. I hope!!
I have lease protection so I want to go non run flats but do not want to spend over 140 a tire. How are the BF sport comp 2s? Any one have any experience? |

My brother has the bf Goodrich A/s on his boxster and he loves them. I drove his car on a long trip and those tires are very impressive. I'd say go for it. Getting very good reviews on tire rack as well

"I have lease protection so I want to go non run flats".....what does this mean....no way will BMW take the car back without runflats if it came with them...or are you putting your new tires on another set of rims?
I have the AS3s....they are VERY good and I paid $130.00 each mounted and balanced...these were 18" like yours |

The new dws06 are great, I had the Michelin as3 last year and prefer these so far. If you care about weight savings, the dws06 are also lighter than the the as3.

I'm not denying that you could know someone to get you tires at cost, but I can tell you 100% no one else will get these very expensive tires so cheap

Toyo proxes 4 plus? I've heard those are fairly good. Although I have not tried them. 225/45/18 go for about $180-$190 cad. That works out to $138-$146 usd. And stuff is always cheaper in the states so I wouldn't be surprised if they can be had for under $120 usd per tire in the US.
Another option, ohtsu fp7000? Only $115 cad or so... So probably $70-$80 usd each. The ohtsu fp8000 are rebounded falken 452s which are fantastic high performance summers. I'm not sure but the fp7000 a/s could also be rebounded falkens? Last edited by E30toF30; 05-21-2016 at 11:41 PM.. |

Also, I noticed they break loose pretty easy now on wet roads. Driving on wet roads this morning around a corner I goosed the gas a little and without AWD I would have been in the guard rail. So, with all this said I wont be buying again. Gonna try the Micheline AS3plus, I cant get over the funky look of the DWS06, even though it is much improved over the DWS to my eyes. Especially the sidewall is acceptable now. |
