Ok, feel free to trade in your BMW and take a $20-30k hit so you can save 1-3mpg or $300 a year in gas.

F80 LCI will start production the same time that F30 LCI starts.

Likewise, F82 and F32 will be on the same schedule (probably 8-12 months after F30/80 LCI).

I don't pay for fuel so this improvement has zero value to me personally. I was speaking generally.

Same start of production as F30 LCI. F82 updates come a year later, with the F32 LCI.

F30 LCI/ F80 LCI - Start of production July 2015 (2016 MY)
F32 LCI/ F82 LCI - Start of production July 2016 (2017 MY)
Are u serious? So if my F80 is arriving at my place in March, roughly 3 months later they'll start LCI production?

I'm better off waiting a few months then...

Hmm I don't know if that's right, I would think BMW would give the pre-LCI M3 at least 2 years of production in the states, so that the LCI F80 would come out Summer 2016. Then again, the M3 was facelifted the same year as the 3 series with the E90 chassis, so maybe BMW will do as they please.

But being an early adopter has downsides ...

So confusing. I think I got it right. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I'm frickin confused too. Tried to keep it together while posting.

330i will only use the B48, not N20. If the B48 isn't ready for the 330, then it'll be pushed to Summer of 2016.

Ha. True. I need a 4 door now and I would love to wait for the LCI. I don't care about the engine. I'm adding the MPPK and the MPE, and my car will be fast enough with the N55. If I need more power (which I prob won't); I'll add the Dinantronics.

I just want LED Head Lights. I love them on my 4.

they really need to change the interior of the current 3. I definitely like the design and with the right leather trim it looks luxurious however the new c class' interior is head and shoulders above it.

Looks pretty clear that the headlights are getting the 4 series concept "L" treatment.

Same exact thing happened with the E90M and F10M. It's part of BMW's standard product cycle.

If it is anything like the last M3. They will only get the tail light update.

E46 and E90 M3 both saw only taillight facelift, but BMW hasn't trended this way for more recent M vehicles:

I think to stay competitive I'd expect the LCI features of all future M cars to incorporate those from the non-M line.

I hope they have something good planned for the interior.

Surprise us with something cool too!

Will the LED headlights replace Xenons or will it be an extra option?

Remember that the F80 and F82 both share the headlights from the F32, not the F30. As the F32 is not getting an LCI yet, the F80 will only get updates to its taillights.

This wasn't applicable on the F10M, since it shares both the headlights and taillights with the F10.

The real question is: Will the F80 and F82 get the F32 LCI headlights as part of that refresh? The E90M and E92M did not get the E92 LCI headlights, because BMW changed the bumper design to accommodate the updated shape of the headlights (and presumably didn't want to spend the money to update the bumper designs on the E9x LCI M3).

Will the F32 LCI headlights get a different shape? If so, that likely means that the F80 and F82 won't get an update. If the F32 LCI headlights stay the same shape, it's a safe bet to assume that the F82 LCI will get the new lights, but it'll be interesting to see if the F80 LCI does as well. It would mean a second LCI of sorts for the F80 in 2016.

Agree. I also wish that they offered sunroof delete, RWD, and even a 320i wagon.

Back when I bought my E90 335i ED, I would have gone for a wagon had it been available with the N55/manual and no sunroof (extra weight where you don't need it).

Same here! A 340i b58 wagon with a 6spd manual and awd would be a winner! The 335xi was available with the manual, how hard can it be to offer it with the touring? Because of that the v60 t6 has no competition from BMW.
