Hi everyone!

I'm about to join the F30 crowd as I'm finalizing my purchase of CPO 2015 328i.
Thank you all for info on coding, especially the app.
Makes it much cheaper and easier than what I had to do with Mercedes... XD

Perhaps after I get my car, I'd love to join up.

Here is what I have coded:
Fold mirrors with fob/CA
Close windows and sunroof with fob/CA
Open windows and sunroof with fob
DL lights 100% with headlights on
Remove disclaimer
No seatbelt chime both seats
M- logo in dash
DVD on when in motion (barely use this)
Side cameras on when driving (never use this, just makes you dizzy--but I wanted to see what it was like)

I think there was something else but can't remember. My start/stop is always off so didn't need that and my welcome lights go on in reverse already.

Once again, I have such limited time frames--Mondays and Tuesdays I have my son after 2pm and then it's Homework, Taekwondo, making dinner etc...shoot most of my car mod stuff happens on those days between 10 am-1pm. And then going anywhere at 6pm is just lots of time sitting in traffic.
A lot of that list is what I want as well.

Let's all meet Sunday evening and Monday evening if possible. Serramonte seems like a good place?

Hmm any coders can come Sunday? I don't mind chilling Sunday and shooting the shit for a while. Maybe grab some grub and beers. But if we could code too.. then even better. Seems like we would at least have 1 coder Monday.

I think TinkyWinks said he could help us out.

side note: After flashing my DME via AA's OBD flash tune, my car won't perform launch control. I'm doing everything according to instruction, and I've done it before, pre-tune. Anyone know the code line to check to see if it was coded out? Hopefully we can check it out on Sunday. I'd hardly ever use it, but it's nice just to know I have the option.

Wow I would love to join the party. I'm in the process of retrofitting an M sport steering wheel with paddle shifters. Wonder if anyone can help me out to turn the function on? I'm also trying to remove the airbag too and I freakin having the hardest time removing it. Anyone can help me? Youtube videos looks so easy tho.. I'm in San Mateo right now with the car and tools. LOL

Are you retrofitting from the Standard/Sport steering wheel or just adding the paddle shifters to your existing M-Sport wheel? I took off my Sport line wheel to wrap it. Used this method:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRnxGSAHNNY

I found it easier than going through those nearly invisible holes in the bottom. Give it a shot, if you're still having issues, I work in Millbrae, we might be able to set up a time where I can come by to give you a hand. Or if you come by on Sunday, I'll try to remember to bring some tools.

Thanks for the info and offer. I just needed to say something. I finally got it removed. Was retrofitting from sportline to m steering wheel. I like how it came out. Just need the coding now to turn the paddles on but looks like I don't have the harness for it. Anybody here had done it?

So if I already have paddle shifters, is M steering wheel just a simple swap?

AFAIK, pretty simple and straightforward. Connections & coding should all be the same, the main detractor for most seems to be the cost. The Sport line steering wheel and M-Sport steering wheel use different airbag designs, so you'd have to find a replacement airbag, which usually aren't cheap.

Sorry fellas, just found out one of my best friends is proposing tomorrow and need some help with setting up so I’ll be in Sac and will be unable to make it tomorrow night. Schedule is pretty tight in April but I’ll let the group know if something opens up.

No worries! Whenever you're good bro.

Everyone else, we can still have a mini meet.

So who is still available to meet tomorrow then? Does Monday work better for more people?

Alrighty. Thus far, it sounds like just us 2 are firm on tomorrow, in which case, if we can get a couple more to come out on Monday instead, it might be more worthwhile. No offense.

Just for a head count and confirmation of time, who can make it Monday, March 26 at 6pm at Serramonte (exact location TBD)?

I. (Might be a tad bit tardy) but let's grab grub too when there. Haha
