I know you're experienced at these things TMP but sometimes I see prices on eg contracthireandleasing.com and think 'Yeah, right'. Often looking at the detailed quote shows it's not as good as it looks.
This was direct with Solant, so not on that contracthireandleasing.com website. Which I agree, is very hard to find genuine good deals on it!

The deal was in the same ilk as the £60k 640d going for £399 a month. BMW must need to get a model sales going, so subsidise a limited number.... Again, that deal was very genuine and actually better value than the 330d offer!

Yeah, some regrets as I have mentioned previously. However, in similar trend with this thread I kept the spec low-ish on the CH deal for it (as it hurt so much to pay for all the options in 2 years). The M135 however is on PCP and has pretty much my perfect spec

I am missing some of the 3er standard things that my e90 had (Storage Pack being one). Although, some things have just changed in the generations from E to F so would equally wind me up with am F30 e.g. Cruise control stalk.

I am of course missing the amazing balance of mpg and performance the 330d has, plus that increased range due to a larger tank. Of course, the M135i still had a good balance, its just that much faster, and hence more thirsty. Also, it seems they have reduced the F30 tank size as well....

I am getting a F30 330d for a 24hour test drive at some point, so looking forward to drive both cars back to back

If you actually work it out as I have done above, with these low interest rates - depending on how often you usually change your car, and what you'd be doing with the "cash" otherwise - it's actually a really good deal for many of us Of course, buying any new car is daft - the monthly repayments, and/or the value it will lose in such a short period, are ridiculous. But if we insist on wanting the latest and greatest every couple of years, to make - as someone else on here said recently - our lives a bit more enjoyable until the "grim reaper" comes calling, then the PCP is seemingly the best option (out of the choice available) in a lot of cases

Do you Guys think the M Sport Brakes are abit of overkill for a 320d? To be honest, I really just like the look of them

I thought about ticking the brake option on my 320d M Sport but my head ruled on this one.....I’m not going to drive it like a race car, it isn’t fast enough to require such large stoppers and it adds to the un-sprung weight of the motor so I put the money towards something else...the HK upgrade. They do look great however. If I chose a faster derivative I would have gone for them without second thought

Undoubtedly the 320d will stop more than adequately on the standard brakes so really the M Sport brakes are completely unnecessary on it and complete overkill.

Didn't stop me adding them though

I like the look of them and if I ever did need to slam the anchors on hopefully they'll have that bit more bite to stop the car that bit quicker. As I recall they weren't a lot more money so I thought why not. If I'm honest though it was more to do with how they looked than how I drive

You might think bigger is heavier, but as the discs are on ally bells and the calipers are ally vs cast iron, the unsprung weight is lower with M Sports

I am thinking of changing the colour of the callipers eg having them painted red - is this something the dealer could do? Anyone looked into this?

Please speak for yourself! If you feel you are sucked in by marketing, that's your problem!
BMW have a pretty good idea what the motoring public like, that's why they are doing so well.
Personally, I think they do an excellent range of extras which have their uses in one way or another.
If you feel dis-satisfied there's always Ford or Vauxhall or Toyoto etc for you. And the best of luck!
