i have the dreaded emergency call malfunction error on my cluster and my dash, when reading with ista, my telematic control unit is red and not responding, BUTTTT does not have the standard name for the control tree, i have a feeling someone has been in here before and coded something wrong, im attaching my ista screenshot of my control trees, with the combox in view, can someone tell me if i can just replace my combox and recode? or if i will have to go more in depth since its displaying weird

Have you simply replaced the units battery? Much cheaper place to start and odds are in your favor.

Take out the current ATM Battery and measure it with a voltmeter if you do not want to chance it.
