I would prefer the stock one! Not a fan of the blacked one. I would go with a little tint on the stock LCI, In my opinion it would look much better! It's what I will do on mine!

Yea, it'll definitely help you stand out from the other cars but I was never a big fan of the Euros myself. I'd be worried about non-OEM with their seals/shrouding.

Tint is a no go. Had a serious/friendly warning at some point (I had some on a previous ride). If the tint is reported in the incident report; insurance wont cover the damages; even if rear ended. It also can lead to hefty fines around here.

Thanks! The nano coating is still going strong. They say it's lasting two years and I totally believe it will. Will recoat next year after a good polish.
It's a lot easier to keep clean for sure. It still shines after some rain; minus a couple spots here and there. I'm doing my bi-annual deep clean in the next days so i'll be in a better position to report on the swirl marks; but from a distance I didnt see much. Forgot to tell the dealer not to wash my car last time; so i'm sure there will be a couple to buff out. Can you source Silverwax's products down south?

September 9th 2019
I guess i'm due for a big update of this thread that i've neglected for a little while now. (Almost two years!!) So let's make a little bit of catch up. Last time i've posted, I had received my carbon fiber tips that are now installed on the car for almost two years already. Here are some "after" pics. Also, I was on the market for smoked deflectors to get rid of that orange deflector on the front bumper. Here's how it looks before and after! Sooo much better. And last winter, a friend of mine was parting out his 340. I grabbed his H&R springs (not installed yet), Alcantara / Carbon Fiber trim as well as his rear bumper lips. They look good but I definitely need the sides and probably front ones as well now. And here's the before and after pictures for the trim swap. This one does look veeery good. Before : After : September 2018 , I also tried (and succeeded) into replicating the straight piping between the BMS intake and the turbo. I was kinda delighted by the turbo spooling sounds that could be obtained with intakes like the Agency Power intake; but all it got that the BMS didn't was that straight piping. So with some custom Spectre intake parts, I was able to get rid of that intake silencer that's filtering all these nice turbo sounds. What a great way to spend $100. (Pictures to be added shortly) And last but not the least, fast forward to last weekend (September 2019), I started to have a look on other tuning options for my car. Loved the power of the JB4, but the jerkiness and hesitations on the accelerations were kinda killing the fun. So I threw a post to test waters to try to eventually sell the JB4 to offset the cost of a real flash tune. Luckily enough, it sold in hours and at the same time, I saw a post about a used Bootmod3 license. I managed to swap without paying a cent. I already had a OBD to Enet cable hanging around, so the swap between JB4 and BM3 was kinda quick. I am STOKED about this product right here. Complete DME unlock was done in about 5 minutes, initial flash took about 2, and I was ready to start the car. The power band is soooo smooth compared to the JB4. Spools a little bit less but the butter smooth feeling compensated the few ponies left on the table. I am literally in love while I was always a little unsatisfied with the JB4 experience. The burbles are a bit increased but I may settle them down a bit so they are more similar to OEM. Comfort feels like the old sports mode; while sports+ is in a completely different league; the kinda league that you can get into trouble if you can't control the urge. I used to always drive with DTC turned off; but with BM3, that would lead to huge tire wear since i'm frequently losing traction; which was near impossible with the JB4 because of the lag. I am currently waiting delivery on a Raspberry Pi and some accessories so I can build my own DIY BM3 wifi agent. This will be very useful. As of today, I am midway through my warranty, and just can't wait to get a downpipe and get my H&R springs installed next year. After this is done, I will reflash to a stage 2 map and probably hop on the dyno. Future projects include a big turbo upgrade as well as a water meth injection kit. But even now, the car is lots of fun to drive. I'll try to keep this journal up to date from now on. Thanks for following this.

I <3 BM3. I went stage 1 about 4 months ago after I installed my M Performance LSD and I'm loving it. It really changed the car. I'm tempted to remove my 335i badge now seeing how clean yours looks.

Sooo I was in the market for a DP so I could go stage 2. I wasnt a big fan of the VRSF sound in combination with the MPPSK and couldnt find ANY clip, video of anything else with a similar setup than mine.
It was a purely educated guess. I wanted a deeper tone than what i've heard from other downpipe manufacturer. And since Wagner always had a warm place in my heart, I went with them. Perfect fit out of the box, comes with the "expanded" part of the pipe already worked to fit out of the box. And it's kinda easy on the eye. As soon as I could, I flashed stage 2. God was I not ready. The only thing i'm disapointed about is that I cant properly recreate the sound on video to do it justice. On video, it sounds a lot raspy, but in person it is not at all. Sorry for the stability and poor sound, and even if I asked my friend to take the video from the sides a little bit, this is what came out of it. Since the video, i've settled down the burbles which was a bit too much to me. All perfect now. link for clip :
