Has anyone that is able to get text messages used the call back sender feature? When I try that it calls a random number...

It's a bug within iOS I think.

iOS 6.2 is already in Golden Master, so maybe this will get corrected...

Mine already works. Before the update the call back feature dialed the message centre number. Now it correctly dials the contact that sent the message.

I think you mean 6.1 and it's not GM just yet, maybe very soon though.

Drop the zeros, so yes it is earlier.

Applied the update as one or two have mentioned.........

- Very easy to do....but
- Didnt make anything better
- Changed the headers of my SMS texts to read " Sender Unknown" moving the name of the sender to the subject line instead

Restored previous version (1005) and it is now back to displaying SMS texts properly with the senders name in the header where it belongs......

Anyone already installed the new iOS 6.1 to see if there's any change?

I've upgraded to IOS 6.1 and I didn't notice any changes / improvements.

SMS and e-mail notifications still require you to change the notification count in the phone each time and notification delivery is still flaky.

Anyone else have a different behavior with IOS 6.1?
