Is it a good time to buy?

I am looking for my 2nd vehicle and I had taken an interest on a certified pre-owned F15 X5 15' xDrive 35i with M-Sport Pack. I did some research, turns out the G05 line for the X5 is to start this 08/18 and the EOP for the F15s is by 07/18. I guess my question is, is it a good time to close on one any time between now and about 2 months from now? Is it better to wait for the G02 X5's to be out for the F15 X5's to come down in price further? I would like to hear your thoughts.

Thank you.

Looks like new models do not influence prices for the old models much anymore...

If you were buying new, then it matters, but since you are looking used, the G05 line coming doesn’t have much of an impact on used prices.

Town and Country is having a sale, might want to call them up to see what discounts they're providing.

All GTA dealers have the xDrive sales event, credits should be the same across all dealerships, increased savings will be how much you can knock off MSRP.

I was able to get 14% off a new 2018 X5 this month. Not sure if that translates to used models.

Thanks for letting me know everyone. We might be going for a 2 daily, 1 weekend car setup hence we decided to put a hold on looking into the X5.
