service engine light is on 2002 z3

peake code is table 19 - 8f (DM-TL - leak detected )

What do I have to do to resolve this ? I have changed the gas cap - re-set the cel - came back on after 90 miles ?

You have to go to a BMW repair shop to have it analyzed and fixed.

Thanks - I had that feeling - came on right after 50,000 miles - I figure - something BMW has in its software.

We do not have a very robust Z3 forum here, but we have a great resource for Zeds in general if you post in the Z4 forum (a lot have owned and worked on Z3 as well) http://www.zpost.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=78

Or my recommendation would be to ask on Bimmerfest.com as they deal with mainly Z3 and have a much smaller Z4 following. You will find a lot of people are members or most forums but tend to migrate to the one that best suits their needs
