Do I have MPPK? Any BMW code readers out there?

With regard the the issue that I originally surfaced in this thread (http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1021429), I brought my new 435i to the dealer today and had them ascertain whether MPPK was indeed sucessfully loaded on my car. I was given the attached printout (based on a download from my car) and the shop foreman told me that this proves it to him. It's Greek to me. Anyone? He said the K word (meaning key word) of "NPOW" represented MPPK in BMW nomenclature.

does your vehicle order have Z4A listed? I think that's what the code is for MPPK. not sure though.

Just to be clear, the car supposedly has MPPK: it's on the window sticker, and has the engine cover, airbox, and stickers. So...I'm sure that the option is "listed", but that's just someone in an office typing into a manifest. The issue is that I get no burbling - NONE. My fear is that the software didn't properly download (we've all experienced that when loading software on our computers) and an inattentive port employee, in a hurry to mass process MPPK installations, didn't notice.

Check the Sport/Power gauges that can be shown on the iDrive screen. If the gauges go up to 400, you have it. If they go up to 320, you do not.

Don't have NAV option. Again, does anyone understand the BMW printout that I have attached to the first entry to this thread?

You should get burbling on the throttle overrun in the SPORT mode, sometimes quite noticeable with a few loud pops thrown in. I have to qualify that by saying I have a M Performance Exhaust. Not sure what the stock exhaust should sound like or how loud it should be.

Thanks for the input. We've covered all of that in the other thread (30+ posts; many of which cover the "you should hear it best when...").

Again...what I REALLY need is someone who can translate this BMW computer printout.

Rickinaz....you're in luck because I understand your question and had the exact same question (no Nav, installed upon delivery, didn't know if it was truly installed, etc, etc) with my MPPK. I kept getting the usual answers about sport gauges and so forth, and no one seemed to understand what I was asking. So....I'm here to tell you....yes, NPOW is the MPPK on the printout. I had my dealer print this out for me on two separate occasions, and both times, the reputable head service guy/coder at my dealership verified that NPOW is indeed the MPPK. Hope this helps.

If it makes you feel any better....I barely heard burbles (although I could every once in a while) before I had my exhaust installed. Now they're LOUD.

The Shop Foreman showed me the printout (attached to my 1st entry on this thread), and said that this proved that I had NPOW, but it is in such BMWesse that I can't tell myself, so I'm taking his word for it.

If anyone can positively interpret, that would ice the whole deal.
