I will only pay about 20k for the use of my car over the next 3 years that I have it.

I'm sure a lot of others do the same.

I don't understand how people younger than me can afford brand new 335i's. Are you all entrepreneurs or something? Or are your parents really rich?
From the cars you're talking about you must not be in the United States, no -20ds here.

From what I've read on here and other sites from posters outside the US apparently we get BMWs much cheaper in the states. However, we don't have all the options available to us that Europe has nor the ability to pick and choose each one individually.

Turned 67 on Monday. Fourth BMW. All others were fives. Also had five Porsches and five Saabs as well as a few others. I am hoping this one will be the most fun. Love the stick shift, HUD and drivers assistance plus.

Hopefully 20... parents buying me a 335 F30 if I get into dental school, but may get it even earlier than that if the LCI comes out next summer b/c I wouldn't want a first year engine... so please LCI come out ASAP

Yes I know I am a lucky SOB but I am also working my ass off in school to get done with undergrad in 3 years and trying to maintain a 3.9+ GPA while taking dental school pre-reqs like all the BS chemistry and bio and physics classes. Plus the amount of extra-curricular work on top of it to boost application.

Sometimes I feel like just dropping it and working full time and living at home to afford the bimmer myself and save for future business endeavors b/c school sucks.

I'm 35, had a few 3 series prior to this one...I don't sweat the 335 anymore (been there, done that) and I have the feeling that this latest one (aka baby hauler 320xi) will be short lived...probably moving to 5 series.

I had a first generation '92 Saab 900 - and I gotta say it was so freaking fun to have that manual on back roads - I chased my friend one time in his 71 mustang fastback in my Saab and he damn near killed himself trying to keep up! You, sir, are a connoisseur!
