WASTEGATE and STG1

Hello everyone !
I own 335xi 2013 PWG F30.
Running with K&N alluminium intake and BMS Sport Oil Cooler Valve
I have a plan to make stage 1/ stage 2 and have some questions
1. PWG so what should I do because i can hear strange noise after few runs coming from the wastegate ? Adjustment will be enough ?
2. Should I replace chargepipe for stage1/stage2 ?
3. Is it possible that K&N alluminium intake could increase fuel consumption ?
4. Should I put catless downpipe ?

Sry for some stupid question. I am not so experienced.
Thanks for help

You should go into the N55 engine section. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=421

1. Diagnose/fix your mechanical problem before doing any tuning.

2. You should have already, the stock CP is a ticking time bomb. But yes, absolutely.

3. These cars don't like most intakes, especially when they change the size and shape of the MAF housing. Intakes are only for noise and do not net power gains. They can also cause issues with cold starts, idle, etc. So, its possible.

4. Stage 2 tunes "require" a DP, so you put some kind of high flow or catless DP before flashing stage 2 unless you want to go against the hardware requirements of the tune. It doesn't have to be catless.

Based on your questions, i suggest you do a couple of hours of more research on hardware mods and tunes for your car before making any decisions.
