Yes 1000% sure. Bmw is now more interested in selling luxurious cars. Gone are the days of boxy exterior, austere interiors and loud high reving engines.(I'm not a fan of recent Bimmers)Btw for they're turning into this interior looks great.

And I don't think the CSL's is the best either. Too blobby, too much CF, nice seats though.

This is one of the best so far imo. I like how it wraps around the driver.
wow thats true.. imagine what the M division could do there

I think you're making me out to be a fanboy. I appreciate the interiors of the previous years but they just werent as luxurious. Plain and Simple.

I prefer less luxury and more driver focus

I'm gonna have to disagree.. the new Z4 temperature controls on the dash remind me of a PT cruiser. It really kills it for me

The original post is a pretty good looking interior, but I have to agree with everyone that said the new Z4 has the best interior BMW has done so far. It's a shame the car seems to have gone the way of the old TT (hair dresser car) because I really like the design of the interior and the exterior.

i think that interior is a bit much...... i HATE those gauges... wtf is up with those lines? im not feeling that. that looks so tacky. as far as ambient lighting goes, its all appropriate except for the portion on the door storage compartment, i think thats overkill.

all in all, its a fantastic interior, but just a bit too much? the new 7 series i think has the best interior.

Looks like that new 5 in the first picture has the "glass cockpit" instruments I had read was headed for the new 7. In other words - it's one big display, no actual "instruments", which gives it a ton of flexibility, great visibility in daylight, etc. I'd like to check that out up close and personal.

OTOH, that 5-series GT is THE worst abomination I've seen since the Pontiac Aztec, which it closely resembles. If there truly is a market for this pig, I gotta wonder what the potential buyers are thinking.
