I wouldn't buy a 10k 4.8l X5, the costs if anything goes wrong will be eye watering.

Go buy a Subaru Forester. Petrol, manual gearbox.

A 4.8 X5 is a wallet emptier - and that's just at the petrol pumps. When something goes wrong and you'll wish you'd never set eyes on it.

My 61 plate Subaru Legacy was 6k. Got lots of toys and around 45-50 mpg.

Depends what you want it for I guess.

We bought a 2012/62 plate Forester - petrol, manual box, full Subaru history with 87k on the clock for under £8k

Not unless you like big bills, it shares a lot of parts with the Cayenne.

I definitely wouldn’t buy one of them without a major component warranty, so budget an extra £70pm for one of those.
