So, with bimmertech amp install, do i need to code the ASD off? if so, where do I code it? in Audiotec Fischer pc tool or vag through OBD?

Folks - will the Bimmer-Tech amp upgrade work for the Convertible F33? Does anyone have experience doing this upgrade on the convertible? I am concerned the location of the OEM amp may not be friendly to this upgrade?

BTW I dont have the car yet so cant check, going to pick it up tomorrow!

Question If you dont mind answering. First how does your amp stack against the JL Audio XD800/8?

Second Im looking into getting your amp or the JL audio one with he Technic harness and most likely the BAV Sound stage 1. I want to also add a sub in the trunk how can I do that is there anther wiring harness i need? I have an extra JL sub laying in my garage brand new that I would like to add so I know I need another amp but then what how do I set the whole thing up Thanks!

Ours has a built in DSP. 2 different products.

I have the standard HIFI (S676A). Already upgraded speakers to Bavsound Stage 1. It has 7 channels (5 mids and 2 tweeters) I am upgrading the AMP to a PP82DSP. Will the plug and play harness work with this system?
