Jan 1 2013 us price increase?
I would like to order a 328 for ED in march and my ca says there will be a jan 1 price increase he's baking in to the numbers.
Is there such a price increase? If I pay in full prior to jan 1 why should I have to pay it? Seems odd to me. Thanks |

BMW dealers purchase the car based on wholesale of MSRP (when sticker is issued at VPC). If there's a BMWNA price increase, its passed on to the dealer which means its passed on to you. |

Yes there is a price increase for all models starting January 1 and is detailed in the other board by the sponsors, 3 series is $350
Not sure if paying prior on January 1 would eliminate you having to pay this or not

Mother.... That's weak. I'm curious to see how this plays out since I signed the invoice order form w/ the agreed upon price...

Yea, at the end of the day, I'm buying the car no matter what since I've already started buying parts but $300 is $300.

How could they get away with this? The dealers all know this, and don't say anything and expect to be able to get away with it? I've got my order form with the price down to the $, and that's what I expect to pay.

I agree. I won't kick and scream over $350 if that's what it is, but I'm pissed enough that my car still has not entered production, and should have been here well before Jan 1. Jacking up the price is just insult to injury, even if it's just peanuts.........

Talk to your CA. They usually freeze prices for cars that are in production before Dec 31.

One of the CA on the other forum mentioned that if you have a valid production # before December 31, 2012 your price is locked. I would just check with your CA so there are no surprises
