Dimming mirrors at there best
This is the first time I have noticed the mirrors dimming like this.

Isn’t that what they are supposed to do? Certainly mine do or is it the fact that they’ve dimmed during daylight? In which case check the sensor.

Ive only noticed them at night never seen them change daytime, but i did just pull out of a petrol station & once I travelled for few minutes they changed back.

Were your lights on? I'm just guessing but it's logical that they'd only dim when the lights are on. If your lights were set on auto they may have come on when you were at the station under cover, then went out after you got back on the road.

Yes thats what I thought too, at first I thought the mirror had leaked its liquid until I saw the passenger one the same.
