FINALLY! My Mineral Grey Sport Line is Here!
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Sport Line Manual Transmission Mineral Grey Metallic Everest Grey Leather Tech Pkg Premium Pkg Parking Pkg Xenons Fold Down Rear Seats Heated Front Seats Brushed Aluminum Trim w/Black Highlight She is absolutely stunning. I got a TON of compliments on the color combo at the dealership by just about every single person who saw it. I had to stop by again today, and more people complimented me on it. I absolutely love the color, inside and out. I've seen a bunch of people say that pictures just don't do it justice and it's so true. It looks so much better IRL, it's amazing. I know how much I appreciated photos that everyone else was posting while I waited, so here you go: Gallery here: http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/12012400/1/BMW?h=cfcbac |

Beautiful! I have the same color combo on order, a MG Sportline with the grey leather.
You just made the wait that much harder... Looks amazing. I have not been able to see the grey interior IRL with the red stitching on the steering wheel. Is the red stitching really noticeable? |

damn, I can't justify getting the Msport just because I hate the red stitching. I am normally not so nitpicky, it just bugs the shit out of me to have red with the grey interior.

The red stitching on the steering wheel is only on the Sport...the M Sport has a completely different steering wheel and doesn't have the red stitching.

That's the one detail that does not work with this otherwise very classy colour combo. I have actually contemplated using a thin, permanent marker pen to turn the red stitching into black, when I get my F31. I have no idea if this would work ? So, it might make more sense to trade the stock wheel for a Msport, providing that the selling dealer would exchange for a reasonable price. I do not think I could live with that red stitching for many years. It looks good only in the black or red leather interiors - in grey, it's horrid ! Last edited by DerekS; 06-26-2012 at 09:02 PM.. |

Replacing with F30 M-Sport wheel will be ~$1500 for wheel and new airbag assembly. I may try to find an F20 M-Sport wheel that can reuse the same airbag module as the F30. Should be less than half that. |
