EBII 335i on Dipped 19" Niche Verona's

Hey guys, just thought I'd share some photos of my project that I started about 3 weeks ago. I dipped my new 19" Niche Verona's in Vintage Gold Plasti dip and threw some glossifier over them. I originally wanted to go with Vossen CV7s but couldn't justify the price and went with something that looks practically identical to the Vossens at a fraction of the cost. Here they are!!...

Sorry for the sh*tty pictures, these were taken with my iphone and yes I know...wheel gap. The car will be dropped on Bilstein B8 + H&R sport combo in a few weeks.

Wow that looks really good! How long did it take and how well does it hold up? Easy to clean?

That looks good! I instantly think Subaru when I look at them on your car.

This project took me about 5-6 hours from start to finish because of constantly having to go back to fix blemishes and errors, not to mention prep and dry time. I eventually let them sit in a cool dry area to cure for a week and applied a couple coats of Turtle Wax Ice (Spray Wax) to seal the finish and this made a noticeable difference. Dip and especially glossifier have a "grippy" texture when dry.

They're holding up pretty well so far. Having them bake in the sun along with the spray wax is probably helping with durability. As far as cleaning, I'm able to just use some water and a microfiber cloth to wipe off the brake dust so I'm assuming a pressure washer and some non abrasive solution should clean them up pretty nicely as well.

Haha thanks! It was actually a Subie that inspired this project so I guess I got the look I was going for .
