Contact photo not showing

Contact photo is not showing for incoming/outgoing calls through Bluetooth.
Vehicle: 2013 328i xDrive (Premium package)
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S7

All my contact details are showing up except photos.

Let me if anybody knows the solution

ditto. You're on CIC, pretty sure its not possible. I could be wrong though, even though ive never seen it on mine. I'm waiting for my NBT EVO to be shipped, no more CIC

Sorry by how can you tell the different? Wasn't CIC ended in 2012?

the 2012/13 F30's came with CIC. Mainly by the smaller idrive knob, and the fact that its GUI is older looking and slower. I drove a rental one time that had NBT and it almost made me trade my car in haha. CIC is crap compared to NBT, especially NBT EVO (iDrive 5.0)

Some other member mentioned in a post that contact photo works for him on his 2013 F30 with CIC. That's why I was wondering how to make it work on 2013 F30

I haven't seen it work until I drove a 2017 740i that I was delivering to a customer while we worked on his car. He had a 16 Alpina B6. I'm not so sure if the 740i was an upgrade or not. The Alpina was awesome!!

On my Android phone, the contact photo showed up on my CIC unit. I just switched to an iPhone, and the contact photo does not show up on the screen.

With that said, I assume you have an iPhone? My Android is on Marshmallow. iPhone is on iOS 10.1.1.

Ok- reread your 1st post and you have an Android phone. Not sure why you don't get the photos appearing on the screen. Maybe it's app specific? Have you updated the bluetooth software from the Connected Drive website?

Yeah, I tried a Samsung Galaxy and the contact photos show up even on text messages. Does not however work for the iPhone.

It never worked on an iPhone. I can tell you it's picky on Android phones depending on the firmware you have.

On my blackberry however, it's perfect and I see all contact photos.
