1 USB port but blue connector (for second usb) busy

Hi!
I've a Entry nav and I would like to install the second usb port. I have the usb connector in the armrest, while it is absent in the glovebox. But the usb ports behind the radio are both busy!

The second connector is connected with the SnapIn adapter.

quite right! To reuse it, I would have to dismantle the whole tunnel

Isn’t there a guide/post here where the snap in adapter is removed and replaced with a USB port? You could just unplug the snap in and run your own new wiring to the glove box, would that work?

Yes, that works.
I moved the second USB to the panel under the climate control (like the LCI models with wireless charging).
