Thanks, I tried, but for LZH they only have starting with CCC/CIC. I've tried some of them, but none seem to fix it.

Unfortunately, the first ones are for NBT/C*C and the last one (although for E39) is by dGS.

I'm need an older i-Bus version from dLZH (preferably GTH), so I think anything that's like:

Unfortunately, C*C or NBT versions won't work for me.

Anyone running a different launcher and using 4.1.6 or 4.2.0? Every since loading 4.1.6, it tends to "forget" that flowUX synesthesia is my default launcher. I set it, and after it sits for a while, it defaults to prompting on the next boot.

Tried factory resetting, but Ksw is notorious for hiding saved configs that don't get erased on the reset, so it seems something is lingering.

few questions for y'all, have had my android 11 (supposedly) 12.3, for a year now, got it pretty dialed in, but it has a few quarks. for instance, if i turn the blinker on it will change to the main idrive screen if i'm in the android portion, not all the time, but more frequently than i please. anyone else come across this?

also how do i get my android screen to automatically connect to my phones hotspot vs me having to manually disconnect and reconnect??

lastly i can get speak to text to work, example im on waze youtube, etc, press the microphone on the screen, the google assistant or what ever it is pops up and i can see the 4 google dots moving around when i speak but nothing translates? trying to make this more hands free. seems like something is registering when i speak it just doesn't convert what i say to the screen,.

@ Blinker issue, never heared of this, sounds like an issue of the MCU, maybe your seller has an update of it.
Deftinitly something you should tell them.

@ Hotspot, normally this should happen by default but it sometimes can take a minute until it is fully connected.
if not, remove the wifi connection from the HU and set it again, there should also be some "auto connect" function within the wifi menu.

@ Speech to text, do you have any USB DAC (soundcard) connected to ?
If yes, some do have an internal MIC circuit at the Board even when there it no connector for a mic.
the Android will automatically switch to this "non-existend" MIC, in this case you need to use a different DAC.

If your mic is just such a bad quality you can download a recorder app at playstore to do a quality test.
Then you likely need to use an external DAC with a MIC to have proper voice recognition.
I did this on my HU and just connect a old iphone headset to the MIC port
Also note that the external mic will not work with the HUs phone app as this is hard coded to the internal mic.
you would need to cut the wires of the internal MIC in order to get it working on the Phone app.

Why isn't radio integrated? Can't we store normal FM radio as a button? The radio can be started using the Idrive button. It also works for navigation. Original OEM has radio function too. Why doesn't it work here?

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly, but no, you cannot have FM radio on Android side and here is why:
1. These units do not have AM/FM receiver to be able to handle that on their own.
2. If you want to listen to the OEM FM radio while using Android interface, then the audio switching would not work. You are either on the OEM side and have audio switched to CD or radio, or you are on the Android side and your audio is switched to AUX so you can hear whatever sound the Android is playing. You cannot have both at the same time, it's technically not possible. It would be the same as listening to CD and FM radio at the same time - it just doesn't work like that.
3. If you force disable the automatic audio switching, you can listen to your FM radio while in Android interface, but you won't be able to hear anything on the Android side, and you won't see FM radio interface to select radio stations.

I am looking for an alternative launcher (with the look and feel of iDrive), where I can do more customisations, as for example, be able to change the automatic gear symbols to manual or even change the rpms of by vehicle from gasoline to diesel once that with the current standard configuration the speed indicator is always higher that the real speed.

Alternatively I would be very happy with a tool that allow me to connect to my unit and do this kind of customisations, once that the current version it dosen't allow me to change these settings.

I will be much appreciated with all the information that you could share that would be compatible with this processor.

My radio has a SIM card, so I have internet and can listen easily via a radio app. I just want this app to be visible in the front in the main screen and then I can just start it. Other ways take a very long and arduous time. We can also choose which app should start with the music app. Can't we do that with a button that we might not use or want? Yes, I do understand. Well, it all depends on what Android unit you have. If you're running Snapdragon unit with KSW firmware, then you could use the KswToolkit made by Snaggle and remap some buttons on the iDrive controller to launch a radio app. However you cannot map any buttons on the radio panel itself (1 - 8 programmable buttons etc.) as these are not recognised by Android at all.

Hello, I have had a Ugode Android Screen Apple Carplay GPS 8.8'' Display For BMW 1/2 Series F20 F23 EVO for about a week. I have found the system to be pretty good apart from an echo during calls. I've been trying to upgrade the software using a pendrive but the system never initiates the update despite the drive being visible. Can someone give me some ideas on what I can do? Thanks

I've only got it to work with the pop-up that occurs at first startup when the drive is connected to the display.

If you see that, select it, and it does nothing, then it's usually an issue with the pen drive. I use an older 8GB stick, and that works perfect. The newer, larger ones I have are not recognized.
