Painted M Performance aero kit?

Not sure if I've seen it here on this forum or elsewhere, but I've seen a thread with an Estoril Blue F30 with matching colored M Performance Aero Kit. Have I lost my mind, or does it exist? Anyone has a link?? Thanks.

There is a M Performance aero kit ONLY for the M Sport package cars.

So yes you're right. But I haven't seen any body coloured matched ones. I've seen the black splitters on a white M Sport package.

This is the M-Performance Aero Kit. The pictures have been out for awhile, but the kit isn't available yet.

Yeah... IMO it almost rivals LTBMW's 1M bumper in terms of beastiness. Almost... depends now on the cost.

Someone posted the aero kit in Sweden is $2800.

Frankly, I'm not sure I like it anymore. First, the side skirts can't be left black. It black gives the illusion of the car being tall. So, you have to paint the bottom element like on the Dutch car. Second, the splitter to me looks boxy a bit and makes the front appear taller. The M-Sport has a nice looking step in the middle and you lose that with the splitter.

Perhaps, just paint/keep the side elements and leave the splitter black.

It would be nice if someone could photoshop it.

I'm actually more hopeful for a more aggressive aftermarket splitter and side skirts.

I'm usually for hyper-aggressive styling but it seems a bit tacked on.

I'd also hate to see it meet it's demise pulling out of any kind of angled parking lot. Those lips are great in pictures and nightmares to own.

I contacted the owner of the blue F30 with painted M-performance diffusor and he mailed me some extra pictures, but he said he will make some more and better when he has time. I'll try to pursuade him to join and become a bimmerpost forum member
