Is there ASD on a 2012 335i?

According to realoem I have it in my car, but I don't remember if I saw the ASD files back when I was coding my car. Does anyone know if ASD is already active on the 2012? Is there a way to activate this via coding?

It doesn't. It's not present on N55's. You can find it on 328i,428i,528i...

Of course!

I asked my self the same question. So i searched the back of my car for the ASD module and nothing was there. ;-)

If E-Sys does not show you the ASD module you have defiantly no one installed. :-)
Sad story but I think we can life with it.

ASD will only be available in all 2014+ 328i/428i models and some 2015+ 435i models. If it does not show ASD module in E-Sys, it does not exist in the connected vehicle.

Maybe the amp? Can't tell from the photo what you are talking about. ASD plugs in directly to the amp. What are you looking for exactly?

Probably the wires that would have plugged into the ASD Amp.

That's an Amp for sure. There's no way you can have ASD on a 2012 3 series as they only became available on non-M vehicles produced from July 2013 on wards.
