so, I'm going to go ahead and say, after a few days, things actually do get better. I guess the ECU has to adapt. But I swear I hear more exhaust burble, and turbo whooshy.

I recorded a quick video before i got into office. After i get out of a few meetings i'll post. It's just of exhaust again. I don't like to rev my car cold to hard so don't have the turbo whoosh yet but ou can hear it at harder revs.

Also, comfort mode gets better each day. aside from steering response, you can almost leave it in comfort now all the time.

That is awesome. I'm looking more and more forward to getting the car back tomorrow. I guess the adaptation period can be about a week then by your accounts...what do you mean by steering response as we have the electric steering which is super soft. I hate it and can't stand how soft it is. I like it to be stiffer or harder. How does the kit correct that or at least make it better? Tighter steering in sport mode too?

oh, re: steering all i was saying was that if the steering wasn't so soft in comfort mode, you can suffice leaving the car in comfort from a power response point of view, as it's now as peppy as the old sport mode.

will try to get video up once clients leave. I've logged just under 250 miles. so if you drive like crazy after you get it, i guess it'll adapt. but i'd recommend different driving situations (mix city/hwy) as that's what i've done (by accident) mroe so than intention.

Ahh ok. I remember driving a new 535xi and I fell in love with the adaptive steering. Our steering feels too loose. Of course I also got the x drive car which feels like a boat when I steer hard or go over grooves in the road past 55 mph but for the deal I got (595 a month fully loaded) 0 down. All into monthly payment on 57k car. I shouldn't complain. I have about 1700 miles on the car I may slightly beat on it since it's good for the ecu Ive heard.

exhaust burble

_Update-
Here's what the stock exhaust sounds like after about 250 miles. There's more burble. Engine was not fully warmed up so didn't go nuts, but you compare this to the other one from day 1 and 25 miles, this is def more noticeable.

I'll try to get the turbo whoosh when time permits. That's less noticeable but wasn't there before either.

Which dealership are you using, I called an NJ dealer who is clueless about the PPK.

So, I am wondering if yours does any more than normal, because if the new power kit does not deliver on that claim, it's a shame
Check out the new video a few posts up. I think the ECU just takes a few days to get it's thing on. I started the car this morning and noticed a distinct more burble than a few days ago. See if its more like the e9x ppk sounds?

This makes sense as with most newer cars full adaption seems to take much longer than previous cars. Sometimes 3-4 days is not uncommon to actually feel distinct changes. hopefully you feel more power as well over the next few days.

Dinh,

That sounds pretty nice. So much better than my M-Perforumance exhaust, which IMO is a disappointment for sound.

I need to see and hear a 335i with AT and M-P exhaust.

For the price of
That exhaust it is not worth it plus it's not a plug and play. You have to cut somewhere which is a waste of money.
