Does JB4 remove n55 speed limiter?
Two things:
Does JB4 for the n55 remove the speed governor (155mph) Also, I have tried hittin the speed limiter, but failed. I have a 2015 435i (rwd) non-msport, and tried a few times now to hit 155, but everytime I would hit around 142-144mph, then even though my foot is planted, car would just not give any more power, i am assuming this would be the speed limiter, but it is not @ 155mph. Car doesnt brake or or anything, but will stop powering the car, until i let the gas pedal off and it drops down to about 135mph and if i press it again, it gives power till like 140ish. Anyone else have similar problems? 2 times i tried was sport+ mode with sport shifting (gear selector pushed left), and 1 time i tried in just sport and i dont remeber the settings that i did in the first attmepts |

Because of the tires or the car line? Cause originally, my car came with all seasons, but im running m4 wheels right now. iff your saying the governor is 130mph, that doesnt make sense because i hit past that unless my speedo was off everytime. i know the xdrives spped limit is around 130-132mph, but i dont have xdrive.

As for your speedo, I would put money on it being not laser accurate at that speed. The fact that you hit a wall at 140ish (which does not match either factory listed limiter) seems to confirm that. There is a reason Top Gear always used testing speedo's for their speed tests and not the vehicle's onboard device. Accuracy at those speeds is not required by the manufacturer. In the US anything past the listed federal speed limit is allowed to be off by a margin, and since there is no road with a speed limit over 85 here no one cares how accurate it is over 100. The only legal place to reach those speeds is on a track or the unrestricted Autobahn with no limits, so again......who cares if it's accurate over 100. LOL Here's what you do to test it, find a police speed trap and approach it at 140, see what your ticket says your speed was. Easy. And obviously I am kidding here.

That seems right, I know the speedo would be off a bit, so now I'm wondering if I was faster or slower than the 140ish. I was factory with all seasons, but I thought only xdrive was limited to 130, and rwd was 155. maybe ill buy some gps mount speedos to figur eit out. Also, I had traction on for all my runs I just realized, so that might be whats not letting me hit 155. but it's also scary to hit 155 without traction. |

That's my exact problem. And I dont know just imagine slipping one wheel on a puddle of water or oil or large hole without traction Control at 150+ seems scary
