Too Dark for Winter Days…

Just got my first BMW 4 series M sport + and appart from the android Idrive problems there is just one thing I need help with, is it possible to keep the dashboard lights on all the time without having to switch on the head lights? I am finding it quite dark in the dials area at times and hard to quick glanse at them. Not found any settings for this so I am guessing a coding thing? Any help please....

Turn your headlight switch 1 click to the right. Just don't forget to turn it back when you get out of the car.

I agree with the OP. THe BMW dashboards are way too dark during the daytime.

On my E92, it was possible to code the dash lights so they were always on. Apparently not possible on the F30

I keep my lights on auto and have never found the dash hard to see. If anything it seems like the lights come on when it's not dark enough to need them.

This was codeable on the last generation 3 and 5 series but no longer is, go figure.
