Question Best phone cases?

Just ordered an S8+ with Best Buy's Black Friday deal. That + my $250 Verizon gift card = phone cost me under $300 out of pocket FTW.

This will be the 1st phone I put a case on. Looking for something that will protest it from damage if dropped, but not be super bulky as I like to keep my phone in my pants pockets. Not interested in getting a holster or belt clip for it.

I know Otter Box makes some, but they all look the same for the most part

Spigen. Had a couple for iPhones and they've been great. I assume they make em for Samsung. Bought on amazon, very reasonably priced.

I just bought this one for my iPhone X. Urban Armor Gear. They make Samsung cases too.

I have the same case for my S8. I've already tested this case being dropped on a hard bathroom tile floor. No damage at all. Not bulky. Slightly bulky with the keyboard clipped on. This case also provides a necessary divider between the biometric sensor and the camera lens. I don't put my finger over the camera lens much any more after getting this case.

The best part is the keyboard. It has some quirks but I'm used to it now. Brings back the days of Blackberry. I never got used to the touch screen keyboard. Having physical keys again has been awesome.

I had this case on my iPhone 6s+. Some would say it's pretty bulky. It's all aluminum with polymer sides. I don't wear skinny jeans so it was never uncomfortable in my front pocket. If they made one for the X I would've bought one.

I only use OEM silicone ones.
More expensive than aftermarket ones, but it never slips off my hand and took beating like crazy. I dropped so many times on various surfaces and never damaged the frame. After more than a year of beating, silicone started to deteriorate so I just got the exact same one to replace.

Lasted one 18" drop by my 2 year old and my week old iPhone 7 Plus screen cracked. Never again.

I've been buying i-Blason for a while now. Keeps my S8 tip top. Dropped it many times...not even a scratch.

Same story for my Nexus 6 before.

I use a Tech21 case for my S8+, keeps the phone moderately thin so it's not a huge clunker with a bulky case.
