I personally had the 28i MPE with res delete before the DP. It was far from loud, just a very subtle note. I assume it will be a bit louder with the 35i MPE but don't expect too much when paired with a 4 banger. The DP really woke up the exhaust though.
Can i hide the code? Or won't the dealership be able to tell I've changed it because of the code? I'm just worried about warranty because I paid for the extended.. I don't mind interchanging parts just don't wanna throw on one throw a code then get fucked-_- haha I really want the dp, i think it could have potential with the res delete and some nice mufflers from my local shop👍

You can buy an OBD II scanner and clear the code. Or JB4 if that's along with your plans.

JB4 is BMS stage 2 tune. And I'm unsure about it being wiped from storage but they don't go digging. They have more important work to do. Even if they saw the code, you can just blame it on a faulty o2 sensor or bad cat converter.

I have OBDLINK LX which I pair it up Bluetooth and they offer a free app called Obdlink as well which works great to datalog, read/clear codes, and monitor anything. It also works with TorquePro (Read Wheel HP/TQ) and DashCommand (Reads Crank).

If you're planning on going DP, Intake, CP what octane are you intending to use? If JB4 you'll be pushing your cars limit with 91 octane regardless. So unless you on 93 don't plan to add all those mods you won't notice much because 91. I know someone here running those mods was pushing his 228 one day with 91 in the tank and blew some rods. Word of advice; dont use 91 on a modded car. ESPECIALLY the N20/N26

You can use BMS Stage1, RaceChip, Active8 and ECU Flash just make sure you request its for 91 only and they will let you know which map to use and not to go above a certain setting unless you're on 93 octane.

so the obdlink will clear the code and I won't have to worry about it again? and i always use 91, the closest place near me with anything higher is sonoma raceway.. lol I've only used 93 when I go out to the drags. are you saying to request the bms for 91 octane use only? and would the dp still be fine to add? I was getting the air intake mainly for the spool haha and i was told I should get the charge pipe after the bms because I'd be running higher boost. I got this car for a cheaper daily than my mustang but plan to occasionally track it with my buddies.

Not to say it cant sound decent, but not good.....IMHO
This is just dumb. They ALL sound good, amazing actually. On top of that, NONE of them make ANY RWHP....

Ill be going with a Vibrant Race Muffler, to give it some lower tone for now but will keep the resonator in there as I like the rasp to be contained. So should cut some of the sound from cold starts and still be loud and have a deeper tone when warm. But might play with the Res if I want more rasp from the setup.

Your best bet would be going to an exhaust shop and having them make you a custom exhaust with your choice of muffler. Less than half the price of the pre-made bolt on ones online.

Or keep stock exhaust and do catless downpipes.. Makes the exhaust much more throaty and deeper.

You can do bud tips on stock exhaust I did that on my old E92. Looked awesome.

Ran catless downpipes, stock exhaust and welded on quad tips.
