sad to see minijet selling his but hope he will get a respectful buyer, especially I met him and his car in person, stunning M Performance upgrade! He has the M Sport Red Brakes included.

hey boys,

thinking of going with the 328i. retail price here in SA is 71624 + 1500 pro nav + 2050 xenon. total price 75174.

what do you guys think a realistic price should be to aim for? do u think 10k off is achievable?

Ask for sales manager Paul Kendall.

I just bought from him about a month ago so if you mention Mineral White with Coral Red interior delivered to Melbourne he should know who i am.

It seems as though a max of 10% is pretty good. From memory most people on here haven't even gotten that much.

Good luck.

Just priced my car on redbook. I should have paid $79,228 but only paid $70,500. They threw in euro plates and 4 yr free servicing in as well. My car was make to order.

I think my advice that i posted a while back is getting lost in this really long thread. Basically price up your car and do not pay any on roads. No stamp, no green slip, no dealer delivery, no plates... Just the ticket price is a start.

Only one person managed to beat my approach, but that involves buying off existing inventory and some hard yakka.

I traded in my 2002 mini cooper and 2011 passat tdi wagon for a fully optioned mineral white 320i plus having to pay $25k, not sure if it's a good deal or not but too late now, can't wait for my car

Drive away for a based 320i was what quoted on carsales and bmw website which is around $66,157

Then I add:

- Mineral White metallic $1415
- Headlamps - Bi-Xenon with Daytime Running Lamps $1576
- Lumbar Support for Driver & Front Passenger $493
- Luxury Line (320d/i) $3152 ( free till end of Sept 2013)
- Navigation System Business $1539
- Music Interface for Smartphones $169
- Heated Front Seats $654
- Camera - Rear Vision $769
- Exterior Mirror With Automatic Anti Dazzle $615
- Sunroof - Electric Glass $2245
- Extd connectivity - Bluetooth/USB + Voice Recog $385
- 18" Alloy Wheels - Multi-spoke 416 $1000

Total all up I worked out to be around $80,863 with Luxury line, or around $77,336 without. They also throw in free ruber floor and boot mat as well as free 5 years service.

This is brand new, August production, was promised that car will be here mid/late September.

Was keen to get a 328i as I know some of the options come standard but was quoting another $6.6k extra so did not end up ordering.

Hate to tell you mate but that's ($81k) about what I paid for mine and I got the M suspension, VSS, 19's, pro nav, sports seats. Didn't get the camera though.

as I said, in my case, I trade in two of my cars so the deal worked out to be quite different, I told them I don't care what the drive away price is, all I care about is the amount that I have to pay to get the cars with the options I wanted, initially was being quoted $33k and after 3 days of hard negotiation, I brought it down to 25k which is the amount that i'm comfortable with...

yes, the free line is on offer till end of september I believe, so if you take out the price for luxury line on 320i which is around 3.5k, the drive away price works work to be around 77k

now the wait is killing me

Guys, just give a head up on Stratton Finance for my F31, they are still offering 5.49%

that's a great deal actually, i wasn't going to finance but that rate looks good.

Do you know if they charge any other fees during the term of the loan? Also can you make extra repayment etc...etc...

They do charge the standard fee of $335 for establishment/stamp duty, you can adjust the residual to how many km travelled so closer to any trade in value. Go to the website and lodge an online form and a staff will contact you.

I am waiting for approval but I don't think you can pay more as they have the structure to count the interest and as always confusing numbers. But it is a fixed amount over 48 months for my applications. Still about $50-60 cheaper than BMW finance per month
