I like it for the sole reason that it is different. Subtle, too.
Do it....

Now too look for some OEM M3 grills... nice thing is the black plastic comes off just like the f30 stock ones...so getting them painted shouldn't be a big issue... they actually sell them in white already but of course not my color (figures)....

Better than the red one I've seen, but still no. It starts making the front end look too pointy.

Think it would look better on the 4 and M3/M4 than the F30 because of the slight difference in grill style. Love that white one though (minus the vinyl). Looks so aggressive.

Works with Alpine White, and I like it. Not so sure if it'll work with another colour like Melbourne Red or Estoril Blue.

I don't like the alpine white grill, but this looks really good.

Dang it, you're right. I now need to find a pair of grills in black and get them painted. I don't think paint sticks too well to chrome.

I purchased a set of BMW MPerformance Grilles (not chrome OEM) and had the exterior painted 2 years ago by a professional paint shop to match the metallic in car paint. Turned out beautiful.

That’s the issue - fitment - on some of the knockoffs.

Low Rez pictures do not do the grilles justice.

Sold them this past weekend in classified to Jwheat1926 who received them yesterday and was ecstatic when he had them in his hands. Only then could he really see how they looked in person instead of a Forum pic.

As I’ve stated a number of times, it’s the attention to all the small details that make a vehicle classy. Not fake badges, oversized spoilers, all the other items in Post 1 pics, or layers of mismatched Carbon Fiber all over the car.

It’s the difference between a rapper with a dozen gold chains around his neck/rings on his fingers and Kanye/Diddy.

I might try to photoshop a picture to see how it will look... but I don't really know photoshop... Maybe I'll try this weekend if I have time to screw around with it...

I'm also thinking the front spoiler like this.... just putting a black spoiler on just doesn't seem enough... but rock chips etc. would be a lot easier to deal with if just black.... Then I kinda like a glossy black? .... I don't know.... Hmmmm

I think going with the rocker panel black-outs is the start of just too much...

It just looks like you're trying to hard. To make it look good it should be clean and simple. We know it's modified, but it shouldn't appear modified, if that makes sense. The colors jump around too much so it looks less like a color scheme and more like mismatched panels cobbled together. But neither of those cars are doing anything justice with all the extra decals and such.

I think the color matched grill looks great on the below car. I wonder how it would look on my Mel Red 330i?

I like it on the Alpine White F82/32.

Works well with the car, IMO.

Hello BMW Experts!

It looks better than I hoped. The grills came with flat black slats, which I replaced with my glossy black slats.
I think it looks very clean & mean.

That looks fantastic!! Once again, just a little different yet not enough to be too much of a change. Awesome...
