Has anyone had a paintless dent removal done on their car, and if so what was the cost?

Just been quoted £120 to have the dent removed. The dent is on the passenger door, about 7cm long and not very deep. The paint isn't cracked. Seems a bit steep to me, I was thinking between £60 and £80.

Yep, the chap I used asks for a photo or two to be taken to asses the damage and location. It all makes a difference as to how easy it is to access the rear of the panel, whether the damage is on or near a crease in the panel, whether the bottom of the dent has a crease in it. Overall, how long it will take to get the dent out and that equals the quote.

So just because one persons dent was £60 it doesn't mean the next persons will be, even done by the same chap.

£100 for a pinpoint deep dent.

Absolute magician and worth every penny.

Thanks for the replies, looks like a range of prices. I'll try and get some more quotes.

Do you think it's worth asking the chap who gave the quote if it'd be cheaper if I removed the door card in advance? It'd save him some time surely?

They don’t remove the door cards. Lower the window and work through the window channel.

I’ll not mention who I’ve used but if you went through his franchise, it would be from £100 depending on the dent. If you had his direct number and he was passing, it would be £50 regardless.
