Considerations of my new f30 320 ede

Hi Guys,

I am new on the forum but just wanted to give some positive and negative comments on my f30 after the first 2200 kilometres. Travelled to switserland with my new car yesterday.

Positive: it feels bigger then my e90 318
I like the automatic gearbox
The standard sound system is better, especially bass
I like the leds ambien at my feet!
LOVE to have an oil temperature gauge
I do not have a problem with the new steering feel.

Negative
I do not like that you do not have to insert the key,
It is lying around and i lost it in the car haha

I do not like the turning lights in the side mirrors, especially at night it is muchto bright,
Is there a solution for?

In my left mirror my lightning controls reflect at night, really hate this!

The rear trunk opens much to fast...

I am sorry to not have opted for the lightning package, because i really like the ambient lightning at the inside of the doors.
Does someone know of i can order it and install it afterwards?

In my e90 i had an M suspension and 17 inch with 225-45 tires i hated it because it was much to hard but i really felt save driving the car at topspeed.t
I like the comfort of the normal suspension in my f30 with 17 inch 225-50 tires at cruisinh speed but at top speed it feels lose and the car is all over the place dancing around.

Hey, welcome. Congrats on your new car and thanks for posting your initial thoughts.

I'm not sure about retrofitting the options you mention (including the lightning - ) but I'm sure someone here will know.

Your comments about the standard suspension are not the first. At what speed is it a problem?

Thanks. Not likely I'll be getting up to those speeds round here so hopefully I'll be OK!

Would be great to see some pics of your car if you have any. Glad you are enjoying it.
