Am I really hitting 18 PSI? JB4 Map 5
Mods:
CTS Intercooler & Intake JB4 on Map 5 3.5-3.6 gallons of e85 at every fillup of 91 octane for about 4-5 fill ups PWG car So for the first time I've put e85 in back to back with every fill up. I did a short 5th gear pull and the JB4 app auto logged it. After looking through the logs it appears (to my very untrained eyes) I'm hitting upwards of 18PSI. Is this data correct? Maybe the logs are to short? Prior to running e85 all the time I rarely saw anything above about 14.5 PSI. If this is valid data should I be concerned seeing as I'm running a stock CP and DP? Thanks! http://datazap.me/u/lpfake/18-psi?lo...a=1-3-4-5-6-19

You need to do a 3rd gear pull, not 5th. From 3k to redline

I was told 2nd gear but I guess it depends on the car tranny. I have a 6MT so I was told to go in 2nd gear 2k to redline

Ok, I know we need a good 3-4 full gear pull for good logs but was curious if these logs are valid at all...
Theoretically if my car really is getting up to 18 PSI would that be cause for concern especially with no aftermarket DP? I'm pretty certain the CP will pop but I'm just not sure what kind of issues having that much boost and restriction with a stock DP causes. Thanks all!

Think of it like doing a dyno in a random gear. Yes it's accurate info but it's not accurate for what you're attempting to accomplish. A DP will really open up your car, probably another 30hp or so. And you better get a new CP on there like yesterday before you end up on the side of the road.
