Production starts on 7/13 so the earliest you would get a 2014 delivered would be middle of August. Another thing to consider, since it would be a MY2014 the residuals and rates would be different and not as good as the MY2013 rates are right now IMHO. Unless you have financing setup separately I would just get the 2013.

If you can wait until mid August or September, I'd say yea wait for the new MY.

But keep in mind the price, rates, and stuff may be different.

No way I can get a better deal then what I got now...
There will be always a newer, better looking car out there... I just need to be happy with What I have, that is why I got the 335i RWD and not the 328i xDrive, no regrets about power neither RWD sport suspension

I'm good, thank u all

Sweet? As in boots fast, connects to BT phones faster, and the voice commands are better? Also, somewhat better Nav graphics, album art on your HD radio stations, and improved traffic you get the privilege to pay for after the first year. All of those...YES!

If you think NBT is a whole new world, its NOT. At least not yet... Maybe a future software upgrade will create a new improved GUI, but for now it works like a faster and improved version of the current CIC Nav.

Personally speaking I'd love to have it, but I want to set the record straight that its not so very different. Most of it is improved speed.

If you opt for a MY2014, expect a minimum of an extra 80 day wait. How bad do you need a car before late August (if you get a very early MY14 production slot)? Or later depending on your dealers allocation.

Well, I traded my BMW 335i for the new one, and I 'm driving a 2005 Mazda3 till the new car arrives.

My concern is, if I put a hold on my delivery it may cost me 2-3K more, why?

There is a $500 fee for production changes / cacellation / re-schedule
Fly ticket to germany will increace $500 as I got a good deal on my tickets now.
I may not be eligeble for the 1K discont that I got
The price on MY2014 may increace and they would have to recalculate + state tax.

All of that for a newer GPS interface?!! may not be worth the trouble.

yea that's not worth it if the new nav is the only "new" thing we got for MY2014.

the thing is when you know there is something better ur always goign to think about it, I would wait 14 vs 13 is always going to be a better option for resale value, usually they don't have any rebates or discounts for ED, its fixed euro invoice plus ($500-$1000) whatever you can get out of them, you wont be disappointing that you waited, if your car gets stuck in port, there might even be a chance that it arives with some 2014's
