G30 shrinking fuel tanks

Slightly disappointed to learn that the 530d has a 66 litre tank and the 540i a 68 litre tank, both down from 70 litres in their F10 equivalents.

I don't suppose you know how big the tank is on an F06 do you?

Ive managed to squeeze 65 litres in there, just wondering if that is the capacity as i had gone from 0 miles to ----- when i filled it.

Fuel range doesn't sell cars, efficiency, performance and load space does

All about the savings, emissions are calculated with every beneficial factor in mind. Less weight for the official test.

50l in the m140, can still get me 400 miles on a run tho! it's also tiny in our Octavia, costs 50 quid to fill (stupid early low fuel warning too!) and will see 400 worst case

Tank size isn't the be all and end all.
