Plastidip comes out as a rough textured surface. And it is a spray job, so it has the potential to get on everything.

true but it is also easily removable so no worries about parts being ruined

it comes out as a rough textured surface if you screw up. I've plastidip my emblems, side mirrors, and reflectors and they were all SMOOVE (lol). But I peeled them off because I hate murdered out anything.

You are supposed to overspray so that the seams are perfect when you peel the over spray off. The seams break at the original seams eg. overspray the trim on door to the window, peel off window, plastidip breaks perfectly at the window / trim seam.

vinyl is a sticker - we know its not real cf! haha
plastidip is a rubber sticker - i've tried both and could care less which is better. that's all im saying.

vinyl your car for 3 grand.
Plastidip if for 3 digits.

Same shit - you don't like it you peel it off.

Plasti-Dip could be both textured or not, but it really depends on what kind of spray gun you use

Interesting - I have yet to see a smooth plastidip job that was sprayed. Throw it up to a lack of interest in the process in my area.

(I also realized that you can also dip instead of spraying... though I don't hear of anyone doing that to a car)
