Great job man! How are you liking the paddles? I've been looking to upgrade mine.

Thanks! I love the look of the paddles and they are way better than the e90 paddles I had in my previous car. Like a lot of F8x guys have said, these paddles feel solid from about 2/3 down. The top where the + and - are, they have to be pulled harder and aren't as solid...but can't beat the look at all. I think they make the wheel stand out.

Make sure if you buy them they come with the backing plate to cover the electronics. I was told you have to specify, but it all came in the box..so not sure, but anyway I love them!

Thanks...I have wanted to do a lot of custom touches for a while...I am going to do two more things on the interior...

1. Paint the door car blades estoril blue
2. Re-stitch the seats/headrests in a blue thread. I have all the headrests finished and the backseat. Now I just need to do the front seats.

I am keeping eye on you and your mods mate

Your thread has best mod ever and that what this forum is all about, Modding Modding and Modding rather than buying off shelf and change alloys.

High gloss black wouldnt be my first choice, but thats your taste
If you'd wrapped the door handles by yourself, good job, had done this at my car too, as well as the trim panels. Was one of the very first mods

I think your black looks great with your dash interior...no other color would look right!

I think he was referring to the painting of the door card strip that UKF30 did. I don't think he was referring to the vinyl... and madmortar is local to me, so if he wanted vinyl, I wouldn't let him do it. We would do real CF.

Let's get back to what this thread was about...the new steering wheel.
