LED replacement for Halogen lowbeams

Had recently purchased 2014 bmw 320xi pre-owned for my daughter.

The car had halogens and they were really bad, horrible at night. Decided to replace them with LEDs.

Bought the LED kit from Amazon.

Amak 2pcs Latest H7 LED Headlight Kits 6000K Super Bright White 40W 4800LM High or Low Beam Bulb https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ABNX09S..._1aQXmuU2ko2OM

Also purchased a LED canbus decoder/ error canceler

Car Rover Car LED Headlight Canbus Error Free Plug & Play Computer Warning Canceller & Anti Flicker - H7 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0185PHL9E..._ovZtrMYeXlBDb

Did the install yesterday. Went pretty smoothly.

To get to the lowbeams, i jacked the car up until the tire is not touching the floor. Turn the tire in before you jack up the car. This gives lot of room to work with. In fact i could put my head in the wheel well if needed and i did a couple of times to get a better view while removing the bulb first time.

Have prepared a small video of the whole install.

Video:

No coding required and i get no errors or flickers. Has improved the light output to a great extent. Enjoying the new LED low beams.

If you have any questions please ask.

Cheers!!

6K are what I went with, they are perfect. yes H7 is for both low and High beam. I wouldn't bother with high beam, just install the osram rallye 65w h7 halogen in high beam.

No issues with beam pattern yet. No one has flashed , covers the road very evenly.

I've nothing against reggae, but audio instructions would be better. For instance, what's with the mounting flange on the bulb? It looks like you removed it, so what's centering the bulb and holding it in place in the socket?

I wanted audio, but when you make a movie using google movie assistant it seems to replace audio with some music. The led lights come with a detachable h7 mount, you first put that in place of the halogens and then lock the LED lights in place in the H7 holder.

If you see the video, at about 34 seconds of play i have shown the H7 mount that is put in place of the halogen bulb. The LED light is locked in place in this mount.

You mention the Osram Rallye. Did you have them in your lows, and if so how do the LED compare?

I didn't test the osram rallye in the lows. But did put them in highs. Far brighter than stock, big improvement. But LED are brighter than osrams and i like the crisp white light of the LEDs.

I've got the Osram Rallye in both highs and lows, I just want to be sure that there's significant improvement to be made with the LED.

Up close output with the LED's is the only gained improvement with the LEDs, but the beam pattern is far worse than what you have with the Rallye's. I've gone through just about every bulb you can think of, but halogen and LED, and for all around output and distance, the Rallye's are the best your going to get. Yes, you don't get the whiter light with the Rallye's, but they still have the better beam pattern out of the 2, they just ran too hot for my liking, but I still run them in my high and low beams in my jetta.

I want to try these bulbs as i'm driving more at night for work, should i be worried about heat ? Any concern for long usage at any given time ?
Thanks for any feedback.

I've been using the Rallye bulbs coming up on two years, no problems. I just ordered a couple of spares, word has it that Osram has stopped producing them, so once current stocks are gone that could be it.
