Active Hybrid 3 MPE

I have MPE on my AH3 since 2 weeks, sounds awesome but unfortunately it has no blurbles in Sport/Sport+.
So after watching some videos on Youtube of the AH3 with other exhaust systems, I notice these also won't blurble..not even a little bit.

F30 335i MPE:

This got me thinking, and I believe these are the possibilities:
- The AH3 has a different resonator (same as F34 GT) -
- The AH3 also has a different Cat than 335i.
- The AH3 is programmed in a way that it doesn't blurble, perhaps because it should be a quite hybrid.

I will start with removing the resonator next week and post my findings in this thread.
Second posibility: The biggest tuner in Belgium, BR-Performance, can also program the car that it will blurble. If the resonator delete won't help, that will be my second step.

The burble came with the MPPK and was made louder when used in conjunction with MPE

A friend of mine also got a 335i and he got blurbles. Stock with MPE..

The problem is AH3. Not the same Beast!

In the AH3 the burble (overrun feature) is disabled by software.

Yes, the burble is completely software "created" in the DME. Its not an effect of the exhaust.

Not a fan of overrun burble - AH3 without it sounds fine to my ears. Look on the bright side at least the wadding in your muffler will last a lot longer !!!

Resonator is GONE! Still no blurbles but it's loader. I'll make a video tonight.

Burbles are tuning the lift off throttle condition. It's not really much to do with exhaust other than enhancing the sound.

The AH3 has a different cat and midpipe so that could make a difference as well. I will try to get a hold on a GoPro to record the sound, really like the current sound. Sounds much heavier than a standard N55.

Yes, noticeable difference.

Mechanically, the 335 and the AH3 have different engine flywheels, and I can't even find a twinmass flywheel part for the AH3 while the one for the 335i weighs 13kg.

AH3? none? is that even possible?

Eletronics may be programmed differently too and the engine ECU may be programmed to keep more boost in the 335 turbo by default.

Active hybrid has an electric machine instead a torque converter. Also when letting off on decel it is regenerating the HV battery. I'd imagine this is why no burble.
