BBS CH-R Question

I tried searching through the forums looking for an answer to no avail, so hoping someone here may have some advice.

I'm looking to order some BBS CH-Rs for my 335i. It's on the M-Adaptive suspension and not lowered.

When I looked at the BBS Configurator website, the recommended pairings for 19" wheels were either

1. 8x19et40 all-round
2. 8x19et40 (F) + 9x19et44 (R)
3. 8.5x19et32 all-round
4. 8.5x19et32 (F) + 10.5x19et25 (R)
5. 8.5x19et32 (F) + 9.5x19et35 (R) --> my preferred choice

When I went up to my tire-guy he suggested that my preferred choice would be a rather aggressive fitment in the rear which could cause rubbing.

So he suggested I go with the 8.5x19et32 fronts with a 9x19et44 rear.

My question is that since this isn't a listed combo by BBS, will there be any issues? and amongst those of you running the 9.5x19et35 on the rears, is there any rubbing and does the wheel stick out past the fender? (I saw a note on tirerack indicating that rear fender rolling may be required with this fitment)

Many thanks for any help.

I am running your preferred choiced with M Performance suspension and OEM tire sizes and no rubbing issues. I had the same concern you have. Not sure how much M Adaptive suspension would compress in comfort mode, but as long as you stick with OEM tire size or maybe one size wider in the rear, you should be OK. Have a look at my close-ups here: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=796633

BTW - I absolutely love these CH-Rs...

Thanks! Your car looks great. Just the look I would like go have. But I noticed in the pictures the rears poke out past the fender. That'll definitely get me in trouble here in Singapore. We need to get our cars inspected by the authorities annually after year 3 and any wheel/tire combo that sticks past the fender is a no-go.

Looks great though.

One last question how'd you get the BMW logo centre caps? Did you just buy the stick on 70mm roundels to put over the BBS ones?
