428i buying advice
I'm placing my order tomorrow night and need some advice. Order details below. I'm struggling between the venetian beige interior and black. I've always had black interiors. Any advice on venetian beige is appreciated. Any pics with same color would be nice too

Black does not show the dirt. This is not the same as clean! The light colour looks so much classier than the usual bin liner colour favoured by down market car manufacturers.

I had a beige interior on my 2008 328 xi and it always looked dirty. especially in the winter when coats and heavy jean color rubs off on the leather seats ..the 435i I ordered last month will have the red interior. a bit striking but elegant.

Looks too much yellowish to me to be honest. You will see interior color more than the exterior. Make SURE you are convinced! I chose Coral Red for the lack of options like Oyster/Saddle on Msport

Are the lower portions of the interior Beige as well? We purchased a 2011 528i with the beige interior and now wish we had not. Not because of the seats but because the carpets (also Beige) show dirt which is near impossible to clean. I think the Beige seats with black carpets look nice!

Coral Red is the way to go with Mineral Gray. See my "garage" for pictures. Personally, if I were going to buy a coupe, I'd get a 335, not a 328. The 4-cylinder, as good as it is, just doesn't seem like the right engine for the more upscale coupe - but that's must my opinion.

I went with beige. I didn't want a black interior and a saphire black metallic as well. With mineral grey, I'd go black for the interior.
I did go to black floor liners to contrast the beige interior. Hopefully they'll keep the carpet clean. I stayed with the leatherette, which should be easier to keep clean than the leather. |

OP: I see that you have an S4 now. Why are you downgrading to a 428?

Go Coral Red or Black. Congrats on choosing the 428i. I think in years to come it will be classed as the drivers choice as because it is lighter the car handles better. Sometime soon I am sure people will find a way to tune this engine so it produces a lot more power than the 335i. Anyway as it stands I think it has plenty of power. I really enjoy it and I am sure you will too

I ultimately decided to go with MG and Coral Red for my 428i. Hopefully it arrives within the next few weeks.
Overall its a great looking car and there is no wrong decision. Good luck! |

I have had 4 BMW's and 3 Audi's to date. My current S4 has been a fantastic vehicle. Tons of power and everything works all the time! In my opinion I think Audi builds a better car, more reliable, but BMW's just have that driving thing that no one has copied yet. i get a new car every 2.5 to 3 years, so now I want a more nimble, economical car, it better be fun to drive…
