I noticed speed limit info and adaptive cruise being available to order in Canada.

Even the new PDF file for dealerships list those 2 options available

Thanks Wild M, I'll update the post later and remove the alarm line.

Power outlets missing?

Ok, here's another one: I see on another post that there are up to 4 power outlets on the F30s. I can't find the ones in the trunk or under the glovebox.

Any idea if speed limit info is a software upgrade that I could get on my 2012?

Agree. I've scoured the trunk and there is definitely no power outlet there. I'll take a look under the glove box though.

Don't know if it could be an upgrade, but I'll bet you'd need the front-facing camera for this to work. I know you get the camera with the driver assist package, but I'm not sure whether it's a standard fixture for other options. Could try asking the dealer, but I'm not due in any time soon.

Although technically still unavailable here in Canada for any model year, I have enabled the "Remote closure of windows/folding mirrors via key fob" function in my own car. Works like a charm, but YMMV and all the usual disclaimers apply.

Those would be great features for BMW to add. Good work Raspartan!

I can confirm there is no power outlet under the glove box. Should be added to the list of the missing features in the OP.

Has anyone been able to copy songs to the hard drive using the USB in the glove box? Or is that another feature we're missing?

I've done that. Actually I think you have to use the one in the glove box. I've heard that can't be done with the armrest USB port.

So once copied to the hard drive do you know if the album art will work (I don't have extended Bluetooth/USB)?

I have the extended Bluetooth option. Don't know about album art though since I never have the media screen on.

I have copied songs to the hard drive using the USB in the glove box, so yes, it works.

You need to format as FAT32, not NTFS or exFAT.
