i do.

Look at the 5gt..makes me want to go blind in a tragic accident. the new 7>? is a Lexus with kidney grills.

im glad I have an e90.. the e9x's will be the last good things for a while IMO.

Heat Suit Is On.. lol
I just see them going back to everything looking like a larger or smaller version of another model. Which in itself isn't necessarily a bad thing but, I feel like most of the recent main stream models (7,5, E90 LCI) are a bit of a step backwards or at least to the more conservative side of the spectrum.

And the outside the box cars (X6, 5GT) are more odd than interesting. I'll say at least the X6 looks aggressive though.

It does look aggressive, but a cuope` SUV is dumb to me...

BMW has always, my entire life, looked great to me. until recently.

I love the previous 7, i would have that over the new 7 any day of the week.

the new 5? front looks ok, but the rear =
and the GT version looks like a Prius with a sport suspension..

so i can only imagine the new 3 will look bad too, if they make it bigger - whats the point of it?

the 3 is supposed to be smallish and sporty - not a towncar.

I guess my next car will be the M-one (or whatever they decide to call it)

I agree with you on a lot of this. I never got the X6 or 5GT either and I prefer the E65/66 to the F01 for obvious reasons. (Although I'd happily trade power trains with the F01).

I actually liked the "Bangle" cars and I'm having a hard time warming up to the latest cars.

What is known just from the shape so far is that the car will retain the basic proportions of the E90 however with shorter front and rear overhangs, which combined with the more bulbous wheel arches should give this car a very sveltte and modern appeal.

Stay tuned for more in the coming months!

man i've felt for yrs the e90's front overhang was 1-2 inches too much... esp. the e92... i'm glad if this is true, they are reducing them... this also saves weight.

People say that Chris Bangle screwed BMW's design as of late.

I don't know about you, but i'm not particularly liking this new style or designer. My E90 looks pretty similar to a 5-series and it's not that much of a drastic change as it was from E46 (Conservative but timeless) to E90 (Controversial but grows on you). This new chasis code fails me but who knows maybe i'll change my mind once I see the full car. Everything just looks more conservatively angled, but still keeping the bangle designs? lol

It looks like it will copy the proportions of the current A4
Very ugly car (proportion wise)

It's hard to really judge until we see the final product. But, I remember when I had my e46 330ci ZHP and MOST members on e46fanatics were dissing on the looks of the e9xs...especially the e90s. I wasn't feeling the e90s looks either back then. But now, I think they look good, especially the LCI e90s. So, I'll leave judgment for later

I dont know man, the e46 is still a beautiful car, the e36? one of the sexiest ever made.. the e90? wonderful, and awesome lines. the LCI e90...starts to lose it. The bumpers and hood are ugly to me, all I like is the headlights.

Maybe I will revert to a turbo e36M...drop top. or an M1

Yeah I'm very curious about where BMW is heading without Bangle. If they're going with the conservative route they might be in trouble. I mean no one wants to see much resemblance between the series nor do they want their car to be somewhat "soft" looking.

Not sure where his source is but that sounds about right. The E90 was launched around Spring of 05 event though it was an 06 model. So if the F30 is a 2012 model it's not surprising to see it released around the Spring of 2011.
