My car was updated by the dealership this week. I previously had the TPMS data showing correctly. However, now I can't find HU_CIC anywhere. I loaded the most updated pszdata and version of e-sys.
Can anybody point me to the correct module? Thanks |

Are you showing HU_xxxx anything, like HU_NBT, HU_CHAMP, etc.?

Hey guys, I am about to purchase my cable and wanted to check if I can code the Sports Displays to show up on a car without navi?
Also, can I view and erase my car's error codes with this setup? Thx in advance.

You can't clear error codes with E-Sys, but you can with Tool32, which is included in the EDIABAS folder.

I don't think it is so much having Nav as it is having the larger screen that comes with it.

Curious why coding does not work with a K+DCAN (USB) cable. Are there any communications settings to make E-Sys communicate via USB so I can use the cable from our E90 M3, or is it imperative to buy a new ENET cable?

http://www.one-stop-electronics.com/...&product_id=21 For a more detailed explanation though, user GenePoole has a pretty good explanation: "All the Fxx ethernet cables do is route the ethernet pins to pins in the OBD jack (pins that are unused in Exx cars). Unlike the Exx cables that use a collection of chips to convert K/D CAN signals from the car (first to RS232 serial, then serial to USB), there is no chipset in the ethernet cables. You can make one yourself with a soldering gun. The Fxx series cars have ethernet hardware in the car itself. The Exx cars do not. They use a K or D CAN protocol which is similar to ethernet in that it is a packetized networking protocol, but different in every other way."

Just got my new F31 delivered and looking into ways of doing some coding.
Could someone send over a PM with a link to the e-sys software and pszdata? Looking to code the ASS and the driving style selector. It now starts in the ECO pro mode but I want it to be in the comfort setting or in last remembered setting.

Still ... If you figure out how to alter the default driving mode (eco, comfort, sport, sport+) in any way make sure to post it. That's something that everyone wants, but nobody has figured it out yet (if it's even possible). |
