I doubt that this ugly car will be a serious competitor. But thanks for the preview of yet another botched styling job from Japan !
Maybe the designer of this one is a brother of the guy who did the new IS F ?

Looks like they tried to copy the f30 and failed.

Love it!

Judging by the recently revealed Lexus IS thread and this thread, according to everyone, no matter how nice a car is revealed, nothing can beat the 3 series. It's a shame people can't open their minds. It's a nice car.

i am looking forward to see it in real life. pictures can be deceiving. i somewhat like the shape of current g37. used to own 2005 g35, car had excellent handling but lacked in other areas. Once the lease on my F30 with "lexus" type suspension is over, infinity might be making its way back into my garage

BMW partiality aside, I really like the styling. I think it not only looks better than the outgoing model, but it looks very fresh and fluid. I like this much more than the new IS.

Looks are subjective but I think it looks great... inside and out... and my bet is in person it will be very nice. It is great to have 3 very capable options from BMW, Infiniti and Lexus.

Idk I like the styling on the car seriously might consider buying it against the 3. At least it won't take me a month before I get used to how it looks. Because when I saw the f30 the first time the only thought that came to mind was, why BMW why?

Personally, I really like the styling of the F30 better than the E90, especially the interior. Neither the Infiniti or Lexus look like they would persuade me away from BMW based on styling.

Come on... Doesn't look as bad as the new IS. I've been waiting patiently for all new models to come out before I decide but I still like the F30 M-Sport better. Yes I say M-Sport because without M-Sport the F30 front looks like a TURD.

Well IMO the new Q50 still looks Japanese outside, and the inside is ugly.
Sorry, I know it will have more features on it than for the equivalent $40,000 BMW, but I couldn't live with the fact of dropping $40,000 and have the freakin' Infiniti logo on the steering wheel looking at me.
or that gaping mouth.

I have an Infiniti G37 for a couple of months until the lease runs out. That's an awesome car fr the money. At 40k I thinks it's a good price for the car for what you get.

The Q50 is just ugly. I did not like the ATS before but after seeing what Lexus and Infiniti did, it's the best competitor to the 3 series. Everything else is now just mediocre. Nissan messed up on this one and the floor is open for Cadillac to take 3rd place in sales, a spot once enjoyed by the G37

Does anyone else think the front end looks exactly like the FX37? A little too blow-fishy for me.

I like where Mercedes, Audi, and BMW are going. I don't like what Lexus, Infiniti, or Acura are doing (acura started with all the ugliness).

I just ordered a BMW, but I promise I will never be as biased and ignorant as the people on this forum who write off a car before it's even produced simply because it doesn't wear a certain badge, and crown another car before it's even produced because it will wear that badge.

I like it. If the AWD version was available when I was shopping form my F30 I definitely would have checked it out.

My wife's EX35 has been a model of reliability without requiring anything other than gas and oil changes. The interior is very well done (less "plasticky" then my F30) and there is not a single rattle after three years.

I would say Infiniti has some excellent if a little underrated products.

Here's some video footage of the car: http://cnettv.cnet.com/?type=franchiseId&value=18

+1.

Amazing how everyone knocked the F30 when it debuted. Forget the badge, it will push BMW further.
