Help! Is model code 123O 328i Sedan S the same as 123N?

Hi folks, I'm placing an order for a new 328i, and instead of the standard model 123N, the model is coming up as 123O 328i Sedan S. I'm told that this is the SULEV version of the car-- Has anyone in the USA seen this code before? To be clear, the designation is 123 and the letter "o", instead of a zero. Are there any differences from the 123N variation?

Also, the production order does not include the STEPTRONIC automatic transmission (205) code (although it also does not include a manual transmission code either, if that exists). I do want an automatic transmission, and just want to ensure that everything is lining up correctly.

If anyone has any hard answers on this, it would be much appreciated.

Appreciated, however what I am looking for is a response as to the differences between the 123N and the 123O models of the F30. From what I understand, the 123O may have a different engine -- the N26 which is a SULEV variation of the N20. What does that mean? Does it affect performance? Reliability?

Thanks.

SULEV - check this post: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...69&postcount=8

I would guess same specs or BMW would have included it in the brochures and would not be delivering cars to Cali or other SULEV states until this came out.

lincabe, have you received your vehicle yet? Does it have auto transmission?
I just placed an order last week and have the same exact concern...
