Resonance when up shifting at full acceleration

A few days ago my dealer installed the M Perf exhaust on my 328i M Sport F31 AT8. Now there's a loud vibration/resonance when up shifting during full acceleration. I've been in Sport+ and used the paddle shifters in manual mode.

The duration is about half a second and it's very loud/strong.

Is this to be expected? Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm pretty sure it's meant to be that way, enjoy it

It would be easier to enjoy if I knew it's a feature and not a bug

i've got it too with the magnaflow cat-back, and the reverb sound seems to kick in when a shift occurs from 4000rpm or above. definitely agree with the others here that the sound is bad ass...

I have the same thing on mine, I think it's normal. Check out a video of the F10 M5 shifting, it does the same thing.

I got the stock exhaust and hear it when im shifting in D/S, kinda goes hand in hand with the shift-kick you get when accelerating fast and shifting. And with the pano-roof open, its sounds even better unfortunately I havenīt had the time to get the M-Perf exhaust yet.

Thanks all, good to hear it's working as supposed!

Funny that I never noticed it with the stock exhaust.
