At Starbux, waiting for my 328i tint to get done ...

Yes, today I took her at the ten salon in Carlsbad, in one hour I should get a call to pick her up.

It's gonna be ceramic all around: 15% in the back (she likes it dark ), 35% in front and Air Blue on the windshield (makes a huge difference). $485.
I've tested the Air Blue before placing the order, just to make sure the HUD it's gonna be fine. I saw no difference.

I know it's not a really informative post, just thought of sharing while munching a slice of Very Berry ($2.95 320 calories lol).

I did the same, but 30% all. I have had the air blue for a week and it has been flawless. Mine cost a tad more than yours but not enough to make me think twice. Enjoy!

Congratulations on the car and on saving 2 clicks/key strokes using an 'x' instead of 'cks,' though you lost them telling auto correct to allow your misspelling.

Pics are coming this weekend.

This is the 2nd car I tint using this formula, first was a 2009 A4 - I have a year with it and no problems whatsoever.
Like I said, the Air Blue makes a huge difference in the interior temperature and especially for the front occupants comfort. Blocks a huge deal of heat which you cannot usually defeat even if you have your AC cranked at maximum. Without the protected windshield, my arms/face/chest always burn. Not even mentioning steering wheel, armrest, seat surface, etc.
It's completely transparent, maybe with an almost imperceptible shade of blue. If you see the car for the first time, you'll never be able to tell.

Highly recommended.

Vitamin D is overrated.

The brand it's LLumar.

LLumar Air Blue 80 is a ceramic film that rejects heat and UV but doesn't get you in trouble with authorities because it's transparent. It makes a big difference, at least in my experience.
I would say most of the "harmful" heat comes through the windshield. It hits you directly and various other surfaces that you as a driver come in contact with. The sides and back are secondary in my opinion when it comes of stopping sun heat.

One unexpected benefit of the AB was that now I can see my HUD with my polarized sunglasses much better than before. It's weird and I can't explain it.
