All I can say for now is that it looks awesome The color is so much redder now, and since these ones have 42 lights (or something like that), it seems as if they are distributing just as much light as the regular bulbs, just more redder (probably since the LED's are red unlike the bulb that's white and therefor displays a more amber-ish light).

Edit: just in case anyone is wondering, these are the LED's I used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...m=200702835973 ...as you can see, they were less than 15 dollar and nothing was said about being error free.. I'm starting to believe you could actually get away with the cheaper LED's (I'm thinking of getting one of the cheaper amber LED's with more LED's than my current ones so it's more bright during the day), it's at least not a lot of money if it doesn't work out

Hi svache, I should be receiving my 335i (U.S. Spec) here in Germany sometime next week ...finally! So after learning that the U.S. models have Red turn signal vs Amber on European models in the tail lights, I see you changed the ones on your car with red LEDs. Is the OEM bulb actually red or is the actual rear light housing that gives the red color for the turn signal in the top corner? I actually like how the amber turn signal looks on European models, but haven't been close enough to one to compare how much the tail lights differ to the ones on U.S. models. Can I change that by just changing the bulb to an amber color one or does it requires the whole light panel to be replaced with one for european models? I'm looking into replacing the turn signal bulbs with LEDs, but wanted to verify before I order any. Thanks!

Can I order this for brake and turn signals ? are they the same size ?

Hey guys we have all these LEDs in stock not 68smd and 110smd but we.have 27 smd but the led chips are much bigger so in reto respect it's much brighter than 68 or 100 tiny size smd chips.
We also have plasma which is much brighter. Contact is by pm and we will hook every one up.

Hey rustyminded, just wondering if these were the same as the ones you got? It seems like your ones don't throw errors, but are we sure that these ones don't throw errors as well?

I had already the 24smd it works good in front signals ..then I bought 3 pairs of 68 smd 2 red and 1 amber and I live in Egypt so it's kinda risky weather they work or make error but i'm still waiting for shipment so if anyone tried the 68 I'd appreciate to hear feedback...

Is it just me because i thought the signals are not synchronized.

Poster above me....it's because they aren't the same. One is a filament the other is a light emitting diode (LED) which has instant on/off characteristics...thus giving you the "not synchronized" conjecture.

To the OP for doing this.

In my MKV I had to solder in a resister to fool cold diagnostic check into thinking there was enough resistence so it wouldn't through a bulb out light....good stuff
